Destiny Renee Brewer Nov, 2nd 1999 – June, 28th 2010
Destiny’s was a beautiful little 10 year old that loved Dancing, Singing, Swimming, Beauty Pageants and Theater. Destiny especially loved hanging out with her friends. She was very involved in the community and school events all her life. She was the only Child of April Brewer and Bryan Johnson of Lovely Ky. Although she has had many accomplishments that make her family and friends very proud, Destiny will be most remembered by the happiness she gave people, and the smile she always put on our faces. Her heart was full of compassion and she was always smiling. Even in her death she is giving people happiness and another chance to smile by being an organ donor. Destiny (tiny dancer) will never be forgotten, always loved, and forever missed.
What Happened to Destiny?
On June 25 at around 5:30 pm, a two vehicle collision happened on KY40 near the B.O.E. office building. A young man Ross Sluss hit an SUV head-on. The SUV flipped onto its top, landing into the creek. An adult female Blanch Robinson was trapped with three small girls inside. They were on their way back home from the Pool. Rescue members from both IVFD, and WVFD worked to get them out of the vehicle. One of the little girls had to be flown out Destiny Brewer, as well as the driver of that vehicle. The other two girls were taken to the hospital via ambulance, but appeared to be alright. On June 28, Destiny passed away due to the injuries sustained in the accident. Mr. Sluss suffered no injuries, and was arrested for DUI (See Arrest Report), as law enforcement officers suspected he was under the influence. This was a horrible scene, and because I was busy helping said Editor Donald York of tmwolf.com, “I took no photos of the accident. As a member of the fire department, my first job is to help those whom are in need. I hope you understand helping others will always take priority over photos for the site.”.

"Tiny Dancer In Heaven"
By: Jody Shepherd 6/29/10
She's a tiny dancer in heaven
She dances on the clouds
She entertains the angels
At God's feet she takes a bow
And we are going to miss her
She leaves an empty space
and we know in our hearts
No one can take her place
She was such a bundle of life
That brightened any room
And we just can't believe
She had to leave so soon
We are all heartbroken
And we don't understand
But we try to keep the faith
And know that this is God's plan
For all of us who were lucky enough
To know this little girl
She changed our lives forever
And brightened up our world
And if we listen quietly
We'll hear her laughter on the wind
And hear her dancing footsteps
When the thunder begins
She always made us happy
She always made us smile
And we were blessed to have her
Just for a little while
And although we are so sad
Her dance on Earth had to end
We know we will see her in heaven
And we will dance together again......
Destiny Brewer was an organ Doner.
